DO Architecture ( Degan Omar Architecture) was born after i first travelled to Somalia where I realized that there is an extreem need for good construction practices. The word "do" to me contains the philosopjy of my works. Architecture doesn't mean to just build; architecture means involving the community in the process and taking action. I do Architecture for the people and the communities all while following the principles of the preservation of the cultural identity and the history of the place where I design.
